Blue Fern Chipboards In Three Different Scrapping Styles...

One of my most favorite product for scrapbooking/ mixed media projects is laser cut chipboard, to be more specific... Blue Fern Studios Laser Cut Chipboards! Why you ask me? It's because they come up with a wide wide wide range of designs to choose from which can easily fit any scrapbooking style.

Let me show you three layouts I made in three different styles, all using chipboards from Blue Fern Studios...

1. My most loved style - shabby chic and feminine...

(Brigitte Butterfly Set)

 (A Moment In Time)

 (Blooming Foliage)

2. Bright and Fun...

(Picture Perfect)

(Urban Acronyms)

3. Masculine/ Boy page...

     (Large Spring Iris)

It just goes well with any scrapping style! I just love it all! It certainly adds that finishing touch to any page. Hope you all have a crafty week ahead of you! Thanks for your visit!

Hugs,

Iris

Chipboard Tutorial; Canvas; and a Matchbox Mini Sewing Kit

Hello everyone, Joyce here again, and I'm going to share with you a quick and easy tutorial that you can use on any of your chipboard pieces:

Canvas made with the Blue Fern Studios petite boutique frame, using the same technique posted above on the Regal Ornaments.  I posted a quick and easy tutorial for the canvas background on my blog if you'd like to try it and the tutorial above using some Blue Fern Studios chipboard:

On the Iron Works piece below, simply apply white crackle paint, mist, and apply some drywall tape over the piece and highlight the textures squares with some rub-on  metallic paste.

Matchbox Mini Sewing Kit.  I took a part a medium sized matchbox to use as a pattern and created this little sewing kit using the Miss Taylor chipboard pieces.  Simply rub-on some metallic paste on the scissors but don't cover up the entire chipboard piece and then lightly mist a color of your choice on the entire chipboard piece. Easy, right?

Let us know if you try out the tutorial on your Blue Fern Studio chipboard pieces so that we may visit you and see what you created too.

Three projects with Irina Gerschuk

Hi ladies!
It's Irina with you today and I'm really excited to share my new projects!
My first project is a LO "Blooming Beauty" about my little sister. It tells a short "family story" about our walk in the woods one hot summer day:
And let me show you some close-ups:
I covered the title "Blooming Beauty" with two different colors of paints then added a layer of crackle accent and after all covered it spontaneously with microbeads:
Here is one more closer look at the title, and under the rose is a piece from the Ornate Medallions set:
Well, here are three different pieces of BFS: Symphony border (also painted with different colors and than added microbeads), Evening Lamp Post (I covered it with white embossing powder) and parts from the Garden Window (again painted with different paints and after it added a layer of glance lacquer):
The same window but from the other angle (just want to show you all the painting and volume here))):
And here are the pieces of BFS that I've used in the LO:

My next project is a birthday card. I used the Calligraphic Border and Damask Flourish in it:
Some close-ups:
The Damask Flourish I covered with two different kinds of paints (choosing colors that match the palette of the card) and than added a thick layer of crackle accent:
I added a flower composition on top of it to achieve more volume and details here:
And here is one of my favorite pieces of BFS - the Calligraphic Border. As to me it's stylish, elegant and so universal that can match almost very work))) I covered it with white embossing powder:
And here are the pieces I've used:
Damask Flourish (Model: 074868):

Calligraphic Border (Model: 074363):

My last project for today is a soft handmade notebook made from stitch:
I've used a piece from the Double-Dutch Flourish Set here:
Covered the chipboard with lavender paint and than with white crackle paint:

And here is the BFS piece by itself:

That's all for today!
